Use the formula Watts = Volts X Amps to solve the question.

We know it is 120 volts. You need to find out what the rate of charge needs to be. Let’s assume it is 5 amps.

Watts = 120 X 5 (600 watts). In this example you will need to find solar panels that can support a 600 watt charge.

Most solar panels only support 12 volts, so you will need to find a power INverter (not a CONverter) that will have the capacity to charge said device, and then use the same formula in order to find the size and quanity to power the inverter used to charge the device at 120 volts.
